Santa Fe Deposit

Big discoveries

As co-founder of Ventures West Minerals, Clyde discovered the Santa Fe gold-silver deposit, the first significant sediment-hosted Carlin-like gold deposit identified in western Nevada.

Project management

Clyde directed a comprehensive exploration program, including detailed geologic mapping, geochemical and geophysical surveys, drilling, and metallurgical test work. Santa Fe produced 420,000 ounces gold and 2.8 million ounces silver.
